Helping local businesses "get visible" this tourism season

SUNY Geneseo’s Adopt-a-Business Program is hosting a series of FREE workshops this month to help small businesses increase their online visibility this upcoming tourism season!

With over 75% of travelers using the Internet and consumer review sites to plan and book their travel, having an online presence has never been more critical for businesses trying to attract out-of-town visitors.

Local businesses will learn about Google verification, how to operate their Google My Business account and how to manage digital media platforms such as Yelp & TripAdvisor, just in time for the summer tourism season!

About Adopt-a-Business
Adopt-a-Business is a student intern program, which provides local businesses with access to free, one-on-one support in social media and digital marketing. Students gain real-world experience in business consulting and the opportunity to expand their professional networks, while local businesses receive student support to enhance their online marketing presence. The program was launched as a partnership between Livingston County Economic Development and SUNY Geneseo in 2015 and is coordinated by the Letchworth Gateway Villages Initiative.
