Creating a more robust digital culture requires the participation of both businesses and consumers. To facilitate this, Letchworth Gateway Villages is teaming up with a range of partners over the next several months to help businesses improve their visibility online and to mobilize community members to utilize consumer review sites and other social media that will in turn help drive content and visibility for our region’s local businesses and attractions.

Beginning in October, LGV will be launching digital marketing clinics in partnership with SUNY Geneseo’s Adopt-a-Business program in each of the three LGV communities. Clinics will provide ongoing, one-on-one support and coaching for businesses in Perry, Mount Morris and Geneseo to reinforce skills and ensure businesses succeed in utilizing digital marketing tools.

In an effort to increase visibility for local businesses, off-the-beaten track experiences and events in our area, LGV will be working to mobilize community members to share their favorite things to do locally on social media platforms like Yelp, Google’s Local Guides and Facebook. By sharing the things they love, locals can help visitors discover what makes our area so special and drive business to our communities.

Letchworth Gateway Villages is an Official City Partner of Google's Get Your Business Online program. As a City Partner LGV helps connect local entrepreneurs with Google's free online resources and workshops designed to help small businesses leverage the power of the web to grow their business.
